The Connecticut Council on Freedom of Information regularly honors journalists, public officials and open government champions with the following awards:
Stephen A. Collins Memorial Award
This award is given each year to journalists for their contributions to the cause of open accountable government and a free and vigorous press in Connecticut.
Bice Clemow Award
This award is given annually to public officials who display outstanding leadership in support of an open and accountable government.
Champion of Open Government Award
This award is given annually to someone who works toward an open and accountable government.
