How to unlock government records

The Connecticut Foundation For Open Government and Connecticut Society of Professional Journalists are hosting a panel discussion on Wednesday, Mary 22 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Bridgeport Library’s Burroughs-Saden Building, 925 Broad Street. The event will explore how to request government records, the Freedom of Information law and what to do if your request is declined.

CFOG board member and NBC CT political reporter Mike Savino — who is also the president of the Connecticut Council on Freedom of Information and an adjunct professor at the University of Connecticut — will moderate a panel of journalists and an attorney.
